가장 중요한 것은 대학이 얼마나 오래된 점수를 인정하느냐 인데 정상적인 코스로 가는 학생이라면 아무리 일러도 8학년 때 SAT 를 보았을 것이고 11학년에 지원서를 보내니 결국 4년 이상 된 좋은 성적은 무리입니다.  혹시 7학년 때 잘 보았다면 11학년 때는 더 잘하겠죠.  대학 사이트 몇 군데 보았지만 시험의 유효기간을 정한 곳은 못 보았습니다.

성적을 보내는 SAT의 규정은 아래와 같습니다.  이 모든 규정은 SAT Reasoning Test 와 SAT Subject Test 에 해당 됩니다.

SAT 회사 사이트에는 이렇게 나와있습니다.

Official score reports that are sent to colleges five or more years after a test date are accompanied by a message explaining that they may be less valid predictors of college academic performance than more recent scores.

You cannot send only your latest or highest scores, or separate scores for critical reasoning, writing, or math, or only SAT Reasoning Test or only SAT Subject Tests scores. 우리는 모든 성적을 다 보냅니다. 수험생은 최근성적이나 최고성적을 골라 보낼 수 없습니다. 또한 영어와 수학 점수를 따로 보낼 수도 없고 SAT Reasoning Test 와 SAT Subject Test 성적을 따로 보낼 수 없습니다.
Only score reports from completed and scored tests will be sent to the colleges and scholarship programs you select. Scores from future tests for which you registered, but have not yet completed, will not be included. Check your My SAT page to see which scores are available to send. 채점된 시험 점수만 보내 집니다.  앞으로 보려고 등록은 했지만 아직 보지 않은 시험은 성적표에 포함되지 않습니다.  나의 SAT페이지에서 어느 스코어를 보낼 수 있는지 보세요 (주: 이는 SAT 사이트에 구좌를 연 사람들 용.  구좌를 열어 모든 수속을 인터넷으로 하는 것이 유리합니다.  자신이 쓴 작문도 볼 수 있습니다.)
Your scores are maintained on active file for one year after your high school graduation, or for one school year following your test date if you tested after high school. Please see Archived Scores for more information if you last tested more than a year ago 시험 성적은 고교졸업 일년 후까지 보관이 됩니다.  이미 고교를 졸업한 수험생의 경우는 시험 후 일년동안 보관이 됩니다.  1년이상 지난 점수를 보려면 “보관 성적” 페이지를 참조 하세요.
