AMC 8의 사전 사용 규정

2012년  AMC 8 시험 규칙의 Statement 7에 다음과 같은 규정이 있습니다.

English Language Learners

영어를 배우는 학생

English Language Learners may use a book or dual-language nontechnical dictionary between their native language and English.

영어를 배우고 있는 학생은 수학/과학용이 아닌 사전에 한해 모국어로 영어를 설명하는 사전을 사용할 수 있습니다.

A student may use the dictionary only the first time that he/she takes the AMC 8.

AMC 8에 처음 응시하는 학생에 한해 사전을 사용할 수 있습니다.

The dictionary must be given to the school contest manager to examine and retain for the 24-hour period preceding the test.

사전은 감독관에게 전달하여 감독관이 시험 시작 전 24시간 보관/검사 할 수 있어야 합니다.

The proctor must announce to other students that the student(s) has/have been given special permission to use the dictionary during the contest.

시험 감독관은 시험이 시작되기 전 모든 수험생에게 이 학생은 사전을 사용할 허가를 받았음을 공지해야 합니다.

Inform the students that the contest and solutions may not be discussed with anyone outside of their contest administration either orally, via email, internet, copier or media of any type until after November 20.

또 한가지 중요한 규칙은 AMC 8 의 시험지는 응시일 다음 주 화요일까지 공개할 수 없다는 것입니다.  이는 AMC 8 규정상 학교의 재량에 따라 시험을 그 다음 주 화요일까지 볼 수 있도록 규정하고 있기 때문에 시험은 안보/공정을 위해서 입니다.  개최자도 시험지를 유출하지 말아야 하지만 혹시 개최자의 무지로 유출이 되었어도 학생이 공정을 위해 문제를 공유해서는 안 됩니다.
